when I had my RAM and CPU installed so i dont understand.however my cpu got really hot after a minute and saw the red light blink and I quickly turned it off. just before i installed it.it was perfectly fine and it booted up via only motherboard testing(looking at LED lights). Should I repeat the processes?Īlso another note. I haven't tried anything yet on this new motherboard but i basically tried everything on my other one with no avail. I also got a new Power supply(which wasnt really necessary but i changed it from g2 to g3 anyway) and a new motherboard because this happened to me on the old motherboard(same version/brand)!! It also feels like the switches are non responsive afterwards(except memory reset switch).Ĭould it be that my CPU cooler is not working and the CPU is overheating?(the evga sign lights up though and fans are spinning.) Every time I switch on the power button via PSU.the pc automatically starts up by itself without me having pushed any motherboard power switch or something else. To note.something weird happens when i power on my pc. The LED light blinks red for the cpu and then moves on to the DRAM light which blinks orange and then the process is repeating(and restarting?) (THE ram still lights up flawlessly). Everything/all parts lights up in the case but it doesnt look like it makes a difference. So my PC seems as if it is restarting itself every 2 seconds and doesnt really boot up. So I think those are all the major parts that could be related to this issue.let me know if anything else is necessary. I have a basically brand new pc that i bought part for part and started building it myself as a first time builder.
